National
- RELIEF:The government has expanded the list of eligible destinations under RELIEF, Resilience and Logistics Intervention for Export Facilitation, amid the evolving geopolitical situation in West Asia. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said Egypt and Jordan have been added to the list of eligible countries for shipments meant for delivery or transhipment under the relevant provisions of the RELIEF framework.
- The Tipra Motha Party has retained power with a huge majority in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), securing a decisive mandate in the latest elections.According to the latest data of the results, Tipra Motha Party won 24 out of the total 28 seats, thereby achieving more than a two-thirds majority in the council. The BJP secured victory in the remaining 4 seats.
- Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, Suman Bery, today released the anthology titled Divya Bharat: A Window to the Soul of India in New Delhi. The anthology serves as a comprehensive, year-round tourism companion covering all States and Union Territories. It presents a blend of destinations, culture, cuisine, textiles and handicrafts while showcasing both iconic sites and lesser-known attractions. The book includes a monthly travel calendar and detailed State-wise chapters aimed at promoting informed and diverse travel experiences across the country.
- Northern Railway to launch JPP-RCS train between Delhi and Budgam for Kashmir traders In order to offer relief to traders in Kashmir Valley, particularly fruit growers and handicraft merchants, Jammu Division of Northern Railway will operate a Joint Parcel Product-Rapid Cargo Service (JPP-RCS) train between Adarsh Nagar in New Delhi and Budgam in Kashmir from today.
- The One Hundred and Sixth Constitutional Amendment Act, 2023, Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, has come into force from yesterday. In 2023, the Parliament passed the act, marking a historic milestone in its national journey to foster equitable representation of women in public life at all levels of the federal structure. This landmark legislation rotationally reserves one-third of all seats for women in the Lok Sabha and in all State Legislative Assemblies, including the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

- Iran announces opening of Strait of Hormuz following Israel- Lebanon ceasefire:US President Donald Trump and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi have announced that the Strait of Hormuz is fully open to commercial shipping.
- External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar met Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, in New Delhi today. In a social media post, Dr Jaishankar said, during the meeting, both leaders discussed bilateral cooperation between India and Ukraine.
- India and China held Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Bilateral Consultations in New Delhi. India's delegation was led by SCO National Coordinator Ambassador Alok A Dimri, and China's delegation was led by National Coordinator Ambassador Yan Wenbin.

- Nominated member Harivansh has been elected as Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha for the third consecutive time. He was elected unopposed for the post. Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha JP Nadda moved the motion to choose Harivansh as the Deputy Chairman of the Upper House. The Office of the Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha, fell vacant after the term of Harivansh ended on 9th of this month. President Droupadi Murmu had nominated him to the House following a vacancy created by the retirement of former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi.
