RBI Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) Outcomes: The Reserve Bank of India concluded its first three-day MPC meeting for FY 2026-27 today.

Repo Rate: The MPC unanimously decided to keep the Repo Rate unchanged at 5.25% for the eighth consecutive time. The central bank maintained its stance of 'withdrawal of accommodation' to ensure inflation progressively aligns with the target while supporting growth.
GDP Forecast: The RBI projected a GDP growth of 6.9% for the current fiscal year.
RBI has projected that CPI inflation for the current financial year will be at 4.6 percent

National Quantum Mission (NQM) Hubs: The Department of Science and Technology (DST) officially inaugurated four Thematic Hubs (T-Hubs) under the NQM at top IITs and IISc. These hubs will focus on Quantum Computing, Communication, Sensing, and Materials.
e-Sushrut Registration Expansion: The Union Health Ministry announced the nationwide expansion of the e-Sushrut (Hospital Management Information System). The platform now enables paperless registrations and digital health records across 1,200 government hospitals.
