- Union Minister Amit Shah Launches PM Family Care Tracker Pilot Project-The integrated digital platform will track the health, nutrition and education of beneficiaries from pregnancy until the age of 18 using a unique ID linked to Birth Registration Number or ABHA ID. The system will integrate data from multiple government platforms, generate risk alerts, and monitor key indicators including vaccination, malnutrition, school enrolment and dropout rates.
- Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Inaugurates Rashtriya Gramin Vikas Sammelan- the two-day Rashtriya Gramin Vikas organised by the Ministry of Rural Development was inaugurated today in Delhi by Union Minister of Rural Development, and Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. On the first day, senior officials and experts from the states engaged in deep discussions and deliberations on various rural development schemes in different sessions. On June 29, which is the second day, Rural Development Ministers from all states and Union Territories will join the conference to discuss policy directions and a collective roadmap.
- World's 1st Nuclear-Powered Hydrogen Facility: India has officially inaugurated the world’s first clean hydrogen production facility powered by nuclear process heat.
- Key Details: The facility is operating at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) in Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu. It utilizes indigenous technology developed by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) that uses the Copper–Chlorine (Cu–Cl) thermochemical cycle powered directly by the Fast Breeder Test Reactor (FBTR).This integration allows large-scale, 100% carbon-free hydrogen production without burning fossil fuels.
- Corporate Mitra Scheme Commences: The Ministry of Corporate Affairs announced the physical rollout of the Corporate Mitra Scheme, starting with an initial batch of 2,000 certified participants.
- Objective: First proposed in the Union Budget, this scheme trains and certifies professional "Corporate Mitras" to guide MSMEs through complex tax, accounting, GST, and legal compliance structures.
- Focus: Primarily targets tier-II, tier-III cities, and the North-East region.

- Indian assistance sent under Operation Amistad has reached Venezuela. In a social media post, External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar expressed confidence that the Field Hospital Unit, relief supplies, medicines and medical equipment will bolster ongoing post-earthquake relief efforts.

- Goa’s Ethan Vaz becomes India’s 96th Grandmaster:Goa’s 14-year-old International Master Ethan Vaz has become India’s 96th Chess Grandmaster after securing his third and final Grandmaster norm at the Sarajevo GM Mix tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ethan won the tournament with finishing ahead of ten Grandmasters.
- India's Kidambi Srikanth advanced to the men's singles final of the US Open Badminton Championships at the Titan Gym in California today. Srikanth defeated Japan's Yudai Okimoto 22-20, 15-21 and 21-19 in a hard-fought semifinal. He will face Su Li Yang of Chinese Taipei in the final.
