• Shaheed Diwas Tributes: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other national leaders paid rich tributes to the "brave sons of Bharat Mata." A two-minute silence was observed nationwide at 11:00 AM. • Finance Bill 2026 in Lok Sabha: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman moved the Finance Bill, 2026 for consideration and passing. • Election Preparations: EVM and VVPAT Randomisation in Tamil Nadu:The first randomisation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trails (VVPATs) was carried out in Tiruchi and Perambalur districts of Tamil Nadu, as part of preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections.
