- Raisina Dialogue 2026:Dignitaries from Bhutan, Mauritius, Seychelles, and Sri Lanka arrived in New Delhi to attend India's flagship conference on geoeconomics and geopolitics. The 11th edition features Finnish President Alexander Stubb as the Chief Guest.
- Connectivity in TN:PM Modi reviewed the progress of the four-laning project on NH-332A (Marakkanam-Puducherry), a ₹2,100 crore project aimed at cutting travel time to the Kalpakkam Atomic Power Station and Auroville by 50%.
- Nagpur Industrial Accident:A major explosion at an explosives manufacturing unit in Nagpur resulted in 19 fatalities, prompting a high-level inquiry into government negligence and safety protocols..The explosion occurred on March 1, 2026, at the SBL Energy Limited explosives manufacturing factory in Raulgaon, Katol tehsil, approximately 35–40 km from Nagpur.
